So I got tired of not having a membership here in DA :meow:

Now I can have stamps and all those things that I couldn't enjoy before...I think I just wanted to give it a go.

If I like it I'll keep it.


Inspired by $Moonbeam13 post I decided to post this in order to celebrate the Embrace your Geekness Day.

HOW GEEK ARE YOU???

My mom calls me a geek :wow:

I have quite the movie collection. I love Star Wars (know them by heart and you should have seen my old room), LOTR, Matrix, Fearless, The Warlords and many MANY others. Action/fantasy packed movies are my favorites, and good wushu (kung-fu) movies are high up there as well. Then you have the whole Harry Potter business, though the books are WAY better.

Did I also tell you I have a HUGE book collection from HP to Avalon, to LOTR and Jules Vernes classics!??...Paulo Coelho has some good things too, and then you have the usual Design and CSS/HTML books and so forth.

My music collection is pretty impressive as well, specially Queen (I own all of their albums and some rare things)...I prefer the real deal then the downloads everyone does. I even have some Vinyl records.

I love and own comics (I <3 Spawn), manga (Shonen and Shoujo) and anime (Evangelion my first, Kenshin one of the best)...though my passion in that department used to be bigger.

Then as for games...tshhh, I could start rambling about WoW and it's history or all the FF I played in my life, the KH saga or how I'm a Square Enix addict...I also own Sims (only to pass time when I have no internet), Hitman 2 to 4, Elder's Scroll: Oblivion, Guild Wars WAYYYYY before I had WoW...I also used to be around Gaia a lot, which totally pissed my ex out hehe (though that's not exactly a game per se ^^;).

I make websites, pixel art, photography, avatars...I'm on the computer at the same time I'm watching a movie...Have I told you I'm a "self-taught" artist?? Learned how to do websites and all on my own :w00t: (these days many people do, but 7 years ago I was the bomb man xD).

I spend all the time I can (and sometimes even the time I can't or shouldn't) in front of a computer. I'm even majoring in Design so I can spend more time here :lmao:

I also never logout of DA and Twitter :giggle:

I'm very passionate about Asia, to the point I'm learning Japanese (to get closer to the japanese culture) and Tai-Chi (to get closer to the chinese culture and wushu teachings)...I also admire the Egyptian ancient culture as well as Greece's ancient culture (but that's because I have a soft spot for their mytholigies ^^).

*looks up*

And I wonder why my mom calls me a geek :ohmygod: :ashamed:
